You're welcome. I never found myself really having to pitch for work, but I did have to put myself out there and let people know I was available. I relied heavily on the contacts I already had from working in the same city for 15+ years. And that included previous employers! The first freelance work I had was with a company I'd left 18 months previously. You do have to be a bit brazen and tell people you're ready and willing to work.
